This wool have been saved as remnants from local production. I have sorted skeins and selected only those clean and undamaged and packed them into mini budles per 50g+ (weight vary between 50-58 g) and there are 2-3 separate skeins in each bale there. The end of fibre is marked by small piece of tape.
This unspun yarn became famous in Iceland ( where it is used for georgeous icelanding sweater (double knitted). It brings also nice volume look when it is used as second thread with usual knitting yarn. Please handle it very carefully, it can break easily when pulled by force.
Connecting after break is very easy: just overlap ends at the length of approx. 4-5cm (2in) and rub it between fingers. Once knitted, the garment is strong and durable.
Unleash your creativity and experience the joy of working with unspun yarn—where the possibilities are endless!
